For more than 30 years, the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber has served as the organization through which business executives, professional people and other concerned residents have united to provide leadership and direction for the economic and social development of Downriver.
It is an organization that gathers its strength and influence through the dedication, commitment and involvement of its members. The chamber serves its membership by providing direct services and information, representing members on issues that affect them and working with the community to enhance the business and economic climate.
The organization hosts numerous events throughout the year designed to help members network with one another, including monthly "After Business, Ours," Legislative Forums and annual events such as the golf outing, steak roast, Salute to Government Officials and the Southern Wayne County Business Exposition & Black Tie Preview Party.
In addition, the chamber offers discounts and programs to its members, including health, dental and vision insurance discounts, and business services such as small business start-up assistance, industrial parks, business listings and certificates of origin.
